5.30am Sunrise, The Scallop, Aldeburgh.

The beginning of Spring time, it was bitterly cold, a hard frost from an open sky during the night.
Thank goodness for the supply of hot tea and coffee we had prepared, whilst we were filming the sunrise !
More to follow…

Every Minute Counts – East of England Co-operative Community Access Defibrillators

The East of England Co-operative Society is funding a project to provide 24 hour access to a defibrillator in 100 rural or harder to reach communities across Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex. It is estimated that someone has a heart attack every two minutes in the UK.

A third of those who suffer a fatal heart attack die before they can be taken to hospital. This makes it crucial that those in harder to reach or rural communities have 24 hour access to the equipment. And also understand why ‘every minute counts’ – the significance of the vital first few minutes following a heart attack to provide the best chance of survival.

The Society is providing 100 potentially life-saving pieces of equipment We want to help save lives by educating people about why ‘every minute counts’ The Society operates at the heart of the rural and harder to reach locations it is supporting through this campaign.
